About the Speaker: Christopher G. Oechsli is President and CEO of The Atlantic Philanthropies, a limited life foundation that will disburse its remaining endowment and complete grantmaking in 2016, and close its doors by 2020.  Since 2011, Oechsli has led Atlantic’s programmChristopher G. Oechsli Photoatic grantmaking in eight regions of the world. Now in the foundation's final years, Oechsli is focusing Atlantic’s limited remaining resources on initiatives and organisations that build on Atlantic’s historical areas of focus and show potential for transformative change.  He is committed to sharing the knowledge that can inform others with an interest in Atlantic’s grantmaking and limited life approach.

About the Lecture:
The Foundation Impact Research Group (FIRG) is a seminar series hosted by the Center for Strategic Philanthropy and Civil Society. FIRG seminars explore the relationship between strategic choice-making and impact measurement in foundations and not-for-profit organizations.
